Role: Venue Management Associate and Operations Coordinator

As a Venue Management Associate and Operations Coordinator in the finish area, I played a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of the UAE Tour. My responsibilities spanned a wide range of tasks, from ensuring the safety of the racecourse to coordinating with vendors and managing a team of foremen.

On-Site Responsibilities

• Safety and Security: Prioritized the safety of the racecourse, particularly in the final 3.5 kilometers, by implementing appropriate measures and ensuring the area was well-prepared for the event.
• Hospitality: Overlooked the setup and organization of the hospitality area, ensuring it met the highest standards and provided a comfortable experience for guests and VIPs.
• Vendor Coordination: Collaborated closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery and proper placement of equipment and supplies.
• Team Management: Managed a team of foremen, delegating tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring efficient operations in the designated areas.
• Infrastructure Setup: Supervised the placement of barriers, signage, and sponsor banners in accordance with predetermined coordinates, ensuring a visually appealing and well-organized racecourse.
• Timekeeping Arch: Worked closely with the building team to ensure the timely and accurate installation of the timekeeping arch.
• Guest Services: Coordinated with the hospitality team from the Abu Dhabi Sports Council to provide exceptional service to VIPs and guests.
• Access Control: Implemented strict access control measures for hospitality areas, backstage, media, and operational areas, ensuring security and preventing unauthorized access.
• Accreditation and Parking: Assisted the accreditation team on-site and managed the parking area, ensuring smooth traffic flow and efficient parking management.
• Logistics and Asset Management: Ensured the timely transportation and logistics of assets between stages, maintaining the efficiency of operations.
